• Biomec Cx can be left in contact with intestinal ases.
• Biomec Cx is an infection resistant product.

To have in Mind

1. Clean and prepare the quirurgic site.
2. Hidrate Biomec Cx and place in the defect area.
3. Suture Biomec Cx over defect area.
4. Close abdomen suturing the skin if possible.

Biomec: Laminar dressing for wound care. It provides a scaffolding for cells and helps with tissue remodeling.

Intented Use

• Quirurgic wounds: donation and graft zones, wounds dehiscence.
• Traumatic wounds: abrasions, lacerations, 2nd degree burns, cutaneous tearing.
• Total and partial density wounds.
• Drainage wounds.
• Pressure caused ulcers.
• Chronic vascular ulcers.
• Diabetic ulcers.

To have in Mind

1. Clean and prepare wound removing all necrotic tissue.
2. Cover wound with Biomec sheet beyond its borders.
3. Isolate Biomec‘s covered wound with a non adherent dressing. If gauze is used, hydrate with saline solution or sterile water before removing it.
4. The product in contact with the wound can become caramel colour. Do not remove this granulation tissue. Wound can be covered with another Biomec sheet and the process repeated until it completely heals.
